Job purpose Located within the Regional Hub in India, the Procurement Category Team Member (CTM) for Solvents (IMEA) supports HAT in ensuring supply for the global cross-BU category team spend and/or regional spend at the best end-to-end total cost and optimal terms and conditions. The role also supports access to the solvent supplier base for innovation and provides support to the team for specific tasks within the processes under his/her responsibility.Key Responsibilities Under the guidance of the local BU Lead and Category Lead, the Procurement Category Team Member (CTM) for Solvents (IMEA) supports HAT and is accountable for day-to-day tasks related to sourcing and category management.End-to-end management: Manage and moderate all steps of complex and time-critical RFPs in alignment with the CTL. Develop a sourcing strategy and roadmap for selected baskets and the responsible region in line with agreed One! View levers, ensuring full documentation and traceability. Deliver KPIs and targets for the relevant baskets according to annual/long term planning and targets defined upfront with the CTL. Manage strategic and operational supplier relationships for the selected basket, ensuring benefits across cost-out, value creation, risk management, and innovation. Identify and implement best business partnerships in close cooperation with the regional FP KAMs. Ensure compliant sourcing within the area of responsibility and follow the global guidelines set by the CTL. Execute negotiations with incumbent and new suppliers according to the negotiation strategy to achieve the best total cost of ownership and terms and conditions. Execute and coordinate contract reviews and signatures with the Legal department and relevant stakeholders. Research and maintain market and supplier intelligence within the area of responsibility to support price improvements and reliable price forecasting for business planning. Align and cooperate with Regional Supply Resilience (RSR) and Mid-Office colleagues, contributing to overall operational excellence. Lead and manage regional sourcing projects, including alignment with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Preparation and execution of category eSourcing events: Prepare and set up sourcing events in the online tool (e-tenders and e auctions), including RFIs, RFQs/RFPs, and eAuctions. Provide administrative support for the online tool. Ensure all relevant information is correctly displayed and ready for review by all sourcing event participants. Perform process gatekeeping in line with defined sourcing steps and approvals. Perform comprehensive post-event analysis and data interpretation. Communicate decisions to invited suppliers via award/rejection letters. Communicate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of the sourcing event. Project coordination, process improvements, trainings, governance calls: Participate in projects and process improvement initiatives. Support regional stakeholders with Mid-Office tasks such as tender preparation, documentation collection, stakeholder communications, project follow-up, and post-event analysis. Participate in regional and global category governance calls. Provide training and mentoring for CTM BU team members, as required. Team Activities Perform other related tasks and duties as assigned by the supervisor. Attend regular team meetings, 1-to-1 meetings with the supervisor, and knowledge-sharing sessions, as required. Individual tasks Initiate the RFP process and create value through early involvement, strong alignment, and excellent supplier and stakeholder management. Identify sourcing opportunities and engage stakeholders to address them jointly. Steer stakeholders and develop appropriate sourcing strategies to deliver KPIs while providing agile and compliant sourcing expertise. Prepare RFP documentation together with stakeholders. Coordinate the launch of complex and time-critical RFPs. Analyse results and align with stakeholders on the negotiation strategy. Execute negotiations according to the negotiation strategy to achieve the best total cost of ownership and terms and conditions. Coordinate contract reviews and signatures with the Legal department and relevant stakeholders. Analyse the market and market trends and develop an appropriate strategy. Align with the CTL on execution modalities of the strategy. Maintain appropriate documentation and ensure traceability. Ensure compliant sourcing within the area of responsibility and follow the global guidelines set by the CTL. Analyse spend within the area of responsibility and derive actions to ensure achievement of KPIs and targets for the relevant baskets in alignment with the CTL. Coordinate strategic and operational supplier relationships for the selected basket. Coordinate and attend quarterly and annual supplier business reviews. Ensure benefits with strategic suppliers across cost-out, value creation, risk management, and innovation. Deliver results against key performance indicators that drive financial benefits for Henkel (e.g., savings, cash/net working capital improvement, SBM, SRM, sustainability, and risk management). Track forecast vs. actual benefits/KPIs for the categories and communicate performance against these measures and potential impacts. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Understand regional stakeholder requirements and define, develop, and implement the optimal strategy for Henkel that delivers regional objectives. Support the overall framework for supplier management, including supplier segmentation, onboarding, scorecard development, and supplier evaluation, as well as continuous value chain improvements.Experience: 4 - 6 Years Qualification - Any Graduate (preferred MBA or Chemical Engineers– added advantage)
