The role requires a strong blend ofrevenue generation, client acquisition, regulatory compliance, and operational excellencewithin CHA services.Key Responsibilities 1. Business Development – CHA Services Identify, target, and acquire new clients requiringcustoms clearance and freight forwarding services . Build and maintain strong relationships withimporters, exporters, shipping lines, freight forwarders, and allied service providers . Drive branch-levelsales growth , ensuring achievement ofrevenue and margin targets . Preparecommercial proposals , negotiate terms, and close deals with prospective customers. Monitormarket trends, competitor activity, and evolving customer requirements . Plan and organizecustomer meetings and visitsto strengthen business relationships.2. Branch Operations – CHA Services Oversee end-to-endCHA operations , including documentation handling, bill of entry filing, customs liaison, and port coordination. Ensure strict compliance withCustoms Act, DGFT regulations, port authority rules, and internal SOPs . Maintain high standards ofaccuracy, turnaround time, and service qualityin clearance processes. Liaise effectively withcustoms officials, shipping agents, transporters, and port authoritiesfor smooth cargo movement. Ensure properdocumentation, record maintenance, and audit readinessat the branch level. Driveprocess improvementsto minimize delays, errors, and operational costs.Qualifications & Experience Graduate / Postgraduate inLogistics, International Trade, Supply Chain, or a related field . Mandatory experience in alicensed CHA firm . 7–10 yearsof overall experience incustoms brokerage , with at least3 years in a managerial or branch leadership role . Strong knowledge ofcustoms procedures, compliance requirements, and port operations .
