Role : Head - Supply Chain Management Purpose - Why does this role exist ? Maximizing Value Generation. Effectively manage entire Warehouse network & outward supply chain network of railway siding To be efficient and cost-effective. Risk Management Digital enablement of SCM Key Result Areas (Key Performance Indicators) All India Coordination with SCM location representatives Cost Efficiency & Process Improvement Vendor Management & Customer Satisfaction Continual Improvement towards achieving Customer delight Risk Management Team Building Critical Tasks 1.Cost Efficiency & Process Improvement Review of Stockyard network design to improve efficiency & closure of inefficient yards. Digitalization initiatives in SCM area for process improvements- such as GPS, Barcodes etc. Development of detailed SOP covering all the activities of SCM. 2. Vendor Management Building relationship with vendors to ensure high level of service. Organizing workshops to train & motivate Vendors. Review of Vendors performance. Kick start a process for awarding top performing stockyard, leading to healthy competition amongst supply chain partners. 3. Improvement in Services towards achieving customer delight To strengthen CCMS material return process for efficient Customer complaints closure Improvement in delivery compliance. Digitalization of various processes Providing timely alerts to customers about material delivery through GPS alerts. Visit to Vendor’s facility to ensure SOP compliance as per Visit Calendar. 4.Risk Management Identification of Risk involved in Supply Chain scope. 5.Team Building Develop SCM team for effective working. Motivate team members for their high level of contribution. Training calendar for the team to enhancing the skill levels. Decision making authority (Decisions expected) All Key decisions related to SCM Educational Background and Work Experience Qualification: B.E. with post-graduation in management. Experience: Around 15 - 20 Years Industry preference : Steel/Cement /Infrastructure/commodity Competencies Functional Knowledge Leadership
