Role Overview We are hiring a Lab Assistant to support our R&D team in the daily preparation and execution of experiments. This role is hands-on and operational perfect for someone with a background in microbiology, biotechnology, agriculture, food tech, or life sciences who wants to work in an applied sustainability startup. Key Responsibilities Support the R&D team in lab and pilot-scale experiments. Assist in preparation, handling, and monitoring of biological materials. Maintain cleanliness, safety, and contamination control in the lab. Document observations and provide regular updates to supervisors. Contribute to the preparation of prototypes and client-ready samples. Perform other lab or production-related tasks as assigned. Requirements Education: Diploma / B.Sc. / ITI in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Agriculture, Life Sciences, or related fields . (Freshers welcome if willing to learn.) Prior hands-on lab or farm experience is preferred (substrates, fermentation, mushroom cultivation, QC checks). Comfort with manual/physical tasks (lifting bags, cleaning equipment, handling substrate). Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain discipline in sterile work. Interest in sustainability, biomaterials, or biotech applications is a plus. What We Offer Salary/Stipend: ₹12,000 – ₹18,000/month (depending on skills and experience).
