Head of Design

We’re Hiring: Head of Detailed Design & Engineering – Data Centres (Navi Mumbai) We are seeking a seasoned Data Centre Design & Engineering Leader to drive the end-to-end design of Colocation & Hyperscale Data Centres . This is a senior leadership role with a budget of up to ₹70 LPA , offering the opportunity to shape mission-critical infrastructure for global clients. What You’ll Do Lead & sign-off on detailed engineering designs across Electrical, Mechanical, Civil/Structural, Fire & Life Safety, and Controls. Ensure all designs are compliant, constructible, reliable, sustainable, and scalable . Collaborate with construction, procurement, commissioning & client teams for seamless project delivery. Manage A&E firms, vendors, and consultants – reviewing and approving technical submissions. Optimize designs for PUE, WUE, CAPEX/OPEX through value engineering. Build & mentor a multidisciplinary design engineering team . What We’re Looking For 12–15 years’ experience with 7–10 years in Data Centre design . Deep expertise in MV/LV systems, cooling technologies, BMS/DCIM, and mission-critical infrastructure . Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, BIM 360, ETAP/SKM, CFD, Trane Trace, Pipe-Flo, Bluebeam . Strong knowledge of global standards: Uptime Institute, ASHRAE, NFPA, TIA-942, NEC/IEC, IS codes . Proven leadership in hyperscale data centres, cloud platforms, or mission-critical projects . Stability in prior roles (3–4 years minimum). Passion for innovation, operational excellence, and sustainability .
