Azure Administrator

Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Azure Administrator to manage, monitor, and optimize Microsoft Azure cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and performance of enterprise workloads.Key ResponsibilitiesDeploy, configure, and manage Azure Virtual Machines (Windows & Linux), VM backups, snapshots, and Shared Image Gallery.Implement highly available and fault-tolerant Azure IaaS solutions, including availability sets, zones, and scaling configurations.Automate deployments using PowerShell, CLI, ARM templates, and automation accounts.Monitor and manage environments using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Azure Policy, and auditing tools.Design and manage Azure Networking components such as VNETs, subnets, DNS, peering, gateways, and load balancers, including hybrid connectivity setups.Administer Azure AD identities, RBAC roles, subscriptions, governance policies, tagging, and cost optimization.Manage Azure Storage services (Blob, Files, Queues, Tables), replication strategies, and storage security.Support containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS) and assist with CI/CD pipeline integrations.Troubleshoot cloud, OS (Windows/Linux), and infrastructure-related issues; coordinate with vendors when required.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong hands-on experience in Azure IaaS administration, networking, and identity governance.Proficiency in PowerShell / CLI / Bash scripting and automation practices.Understanding of software-defined networking, storage, and monitoring tools (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus – preferred).Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and Azure Stack (preferred).Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills with a strong team-oriented mindset.Soft SkillsStrong analytical and troubleshooting abilitiesGood communication and documentation skillsAbility to collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors
