EarthON Foundation1.  BackgroundThe EarthON Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, democratizing traditional funding practices, blends philanthropy and investment to unlock the potential of grassroots organizations and early-stage ventures across India and the Global South.We identify, support, and scale enterprises that create livelihoods, restore ecosystems, and transform local economies. We also actively build the ecosystem around them, bringing together funders, governments, academic institutions, and networks to create an enabling environment where innovation can thrive and scale.To strengthen its visibility, influence, and stakeholder engagement, EarthON Foundation seeks to engage a professional Content & Communication Agency to support strategic storytelling, brand communication, and outreach across digital, print, and media platforms.2. Objectives of the AssignmentThe objective of this TOR is to appoint a Content & Communication Agency that will:●     Articulate EarthON Foundation’s mission, impact, and thought leadership through compelling content●     Strengthen brand identity, tone, and messaging consistency●     Increase engagement with key stakeholders including communities, partners, donors, policymakers, and the public●     Support advocacy, campaigns, and program communications related to environment and sustainability3. Scope of WorkThe agency will work closely with EarthON Foundation’s team and will be responsible for the following:3.1 Content Strategy & Planning●     Develop an integrated content and communication strategy aligned with EarthON Foundation’s mission and priorities●     Define key audiences, narratives, and messaging frameworks●     Prepare monthly and campaign-based content calendars3.2 Content Development●     Produce high-quality written content including:○     Website content and program pages○     Blogs, articles, impact stories, and case studies○     Reports, concept notes, proposals, and knowledge products○     Press releases, speeches, talking points, and scripts●     Edit, proofread, and adapt content for different audiences and platforms●     Ensure all content reflects environmental sensitivity, accuracy, and credibility3.3 Digital & Social Media Communication●     Develop content for social media platforms (copy, captions, hashtags)●     Support management of social media campaigns and digital storytelling●     Align content with sustainability campaigns, observance days, and key milestones●     Optimize content for engagement and reach3.4 Campaigns, Advocacy & External Communication●     Support environmental advocacy and awareness campaigns●     Develop communication materials for events, partnerships, and launches●     Prepare FAQs, key messages, and briefing notes for external engagement●     Support media communication and outreach materials, as required3.5 Brand & Visual Communication Support●     Ensure consistency with EarthON Foundation’s brand guidelines, tone, and values●     Support development of presentations, infographics, and visual narratives in coordination with designers●     Strengthen storytelling around impact, data, and outcomes3.6 Monitoring, Evaluation & Reporting●     Track performance of content and communication activities●     Analyze engagement metrics and audience response●     Submit periodic performance and insight reports with recommendations3.7 Public Relations & Media (PR & Media)·       Developing and implementing a PR and media engagement strategy aligned with project goals·       Preparing key messages, talking points, and communication materials·       Drafting and disseminating press releases, media briefs, and success stories·       Liaising with print, broadcast, and digital media outlets·       Organizing press conferences, media briefings, interviews, and public events as required·       Managing media coverage, monitoring public sentiment, and responding to media inquiries·       Supporting visibility and branding of the project in accordance with donor/government guidelines·       Providing periodic reports on PR and media activities, including media coverage analysis·       Assisting, coordinating, and collaborating with the internal team of video editors, graphic designers, and content creators to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of all outputs under the scope of work4. Key DeliverablesDeliverables may include, but are not limited to:●     Content and communication strategy document●     Monthly/quarterly content calendars●     Written and edited content assets●     Campaign-specific communication materials●     Social media content packs●     Performance and analytics reports·       PR & media strategy and action plan·       Press releases and media content (as required)·       Media coverage reports and analytics·       Final PR & media activity report5. Duration of AssignmentThe assignment will be for an initial period of [6–12 months], with the possibility of extension based on performance and mutual agreement.6. Reporting & Coordination●     The agency will report to the Communications Lead / Program Lead at EarthON Foundation●     Regular coordination meetings will be held (bi-weekly or monthly)●     All deliverables will be subject to review and approval by EarthON Foundation7. Roles & Responsibilities7.1 Agency Responsibilities●     Deliver high-quality services within agreed timelines & outcomes.●     Assign experienced personnel with expertise in sustainability and communications●     Maintain confidentiality of all information●     Ensure originality, ethical storytelling, and proper use of intellectual property7.2 EarthON Foundation Responsibilities●     Provide background materials, strategic inputs, and timely feedback●     Facilitate access to relevant stakeholders and information●     Provide timely feedback & approvals by ensuring to communicate on time.8. Required Qualifications & ExperienceThe agency should demonstrate:●     Proven experience in content creation and strategic communication●     Experience working with environmental, climate, sustainability, or development organizations (preferred)●     Strong writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities●     Ability to translate complex environmental issues into clear, engaging content9. Performance IndicatorsPerformance will be assessed based on:●     Quality, accuracy, and relevance of content●     Timeliness of deliverables●     Engagement and reach metrics●     Responsiveness and collaboration with EarthON Foundation 10. Payment Terms●     Engagement model: Monthly retainer / Project-based (to be finalized)●     Payments will be made upon submission and approval of agreed deliverables●     Detailed financial terms will be outlined in the contract11. Confidentiality & Intellectual Property●     All content and materials produced under this TOR shall remain the property of EarthON Foundation●     The agency shall not disclose confidential information without prior written consent12. TerminationEither party may terminate the agreement with [30 days] written notice, subject to contractual terms.13. Proposal Submission (if applicable)Interested agencies may be requested to submit:●     Organizational profile and relevant experience●     Technical proposal outlining approach and methodology●     Financial proposal●     Samples of relevant work Deadlines:- 20.01.2026
