Job Description:
We are hiring Safety Officer with 5 to 10 Years of experience for our project site at Dhule, Maharashtra. Qualification: Bachelor Degree + Diploma in Safety Job Description: -As a Safety Officer, your primary role is to support the implementation and maintenance of safety programs and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and health hazards at project site. Safety Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, and environmental concerns. Document findings and recommend corrective actions.Safety Training: Assist in organizing and conducting safety training programs for employees, subcontractors, and other stakeholders. Ensure that all personnel are adequately trained in safety protocols and procedures.Safety Compliance: Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations and industry standards. Keep abreast of regulatory changes and assist in updating safety policies accordingly.Safety Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, training sessions, incident reports, and safety-related documentation. Ensure that all records are up to date and easily accessible.Safety Communication: Facilitate safety meetings and toolbox talks to communicate safety policies, procedures, and best practices to employees. Encourage active participation and feedback from team members.Emergency Preparedness: Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans for various scenarios, such as fires, chemical spills, and medical emergencies. Conduct drills and simulations to test the effectiveness of response procedures.Safety Culture Promotion: Promote a positive safety culture by fostering awareness, accountability, and continuous improvement. Encourage employee engagement in safety initiatives and recognize contributions to safety performance.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s degree and Diploma in Safety.Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30-Hour, First Aid/CPR, Hazardous Materials Handling) are a plus.Knowledge of safety regulations, codes, and standards applicable to the civil infrastructure industry.Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and problem-solve effectively.Attention to detail and a commitment to promoting a safe work environment.
