Senior Quality Assurance Automation Engineer

Role OverviewWe are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in enterprise SaaS applications and modern automation frameworks (Selenium or Playwright).This role is critical in a fast-paced, multi-product environment where quality, speed, and execution discipline are closely monitored. You will play a key role in supporting a shift-left QA model, focusing on automation-first testing while also being flexible to handle manual validation when required.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Playwright (must-have)Execute and validate:Functional testsRegression test suitesEnd-to-end workflows across SaaS applicationsActively contribute to a shift-left testing approach, collaborating closely with developers for early defect detectionParticipate in test planning, test case design, and test data preparationExecute manual testing for urgent, edge-case, or exploratory scenarios when neededRun, analyze, and debug automated test results, ensuring stability and reliability of test suitesSupport performance and integration testing efforts as requiredIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure consistent execution in build cyclesIdentify, log, and track defects with clear reproduction steps and impact analysisContinuously improve test coverage, execution efficiency, and automation reliabilityWork across multiple teams and priorities, handling parallel tasks effectivelyRequired Qualifications5+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on test automationHands-on expertise in Selenium or Playwright (mandatory)Experience testing enterprise SaaS applicationsStrong knowledge of:Automation frameworks and scripting (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar)Test design techniques and QA methodologiesAPI testing and integration validationExperience working in Agile / shift-left environmentsFamiliarity with CI/CD tools and pipelinesStrong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with performance testing toolsExposure to cloud-native environments (AWS, Kubernetes, microservices)Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail)Experience working with distributed teamsWhat We’re Looking ForStrong hands-on contributor with a “get-it-done” mindsetComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-expectation environmentAbility to multitask and adapt quickly to changing prioritiesFocused on results, quality, and continuous improvementA team player who can collaborate effectively across functions
