Position: Migration EngineerLocation: Anywhere in India(Remote)Contract: 1 yearJob Overview:We are seeking a skilled Migration Engineer with expertise in cloud and virtualization technologies to plan and execute seamless migration of virtual machines and applications from on-premise VMware environments to Microsoft Azure. The ideal candidate will ensure minimal downtime, data integrity, and compatibility throughout the migration lifecycle.Key Responsibilities:VM to Azure migrationMigration Planning & DesignApplication VM Migration support from VMware to Azure Local stackResolve issues related to VM conversion, drivers, networking, or storage compatibilityDocument migration processes, configurations, and post-migration reports.Required Skills & Qualifications:Hands-on experience with VMware (vSphere, ESXi) and Microsoft Azure.Strong knowledge of VM migration tools (e.g., Azure Migrate, ASR).Understanding of cloud architecture, virtualization, and hybrid environments.Experience with networking and storage concepts in cloud and on-prem environments.Ability to troubleshoot migration-related issues and performance bottlenecks.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Good communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
