Azure Technical Architect (Full-time at a Fortune 500 tech MNC)

Job Description: Role Summary 13+ Years of development and application containerization experience.Experience in hosting and configuring applications onto the Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS) platform, along with migration experience.Expertise in application containerization using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Instance (ACI).Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to find alternate ways to reach goals.Ability to understand application architecture, dependencies, and integrations.Should have led and managed a team of more than 5 members and be able to guide the team technically.Very good understanding of application migration scenarios and pathways.Primary SkillsHands-on application development skills.Hands-on experience in developing and hosting web applications on a containerization platform.Rich experience in Azure managed services on PaaS (AKS, Azure Container Apps (ACA), Web App for Containers, etc.).Primary database skills (e.g., database connectivity, configurations, etc.).Ability to analyze application dependencies.Ability to manage AKS clusters.Collaborate with Enterprise Architect, Data Platform, DevOps, and Integration Teams to ensure cloud adoption follows standard best practices.Well-versed with containerizing web application front-end and web services.Should understand the detailed complexities of hosting containerized applications on Kubernetes.Application performance assessment pre- and post-migration.Ensure that the proposed solution covers Azure strategy, stakeholder management, and the actual solution (covering business, application, and Infrastructure), including commercial aspects in terms of value for money (not commercial costing, etc.).Understanding customer Infra landscape, ability to Design Azure Landing Zone and provide the Azure target state solution architecture.Secondary SkillsWork with Internal stakeholders, Customer stakeholders, and Project Managers to understand migration requirements and provide solutions accordingly.Troubleshooting experience with the Azure PaaS platform.Basic understanding of containerization and AKS service.Soft SkillsGood customer relationship management (connect).Positive attitude and excellent communication skills to manage customer calls.Prepare solution presentations.Ability to work well in a team.Excellent problem-solving skills.Good communication.
