Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Assistant Stores Head for our facility in Rourkela, Odisha to manage comprehensive store operations. You will ensure efficient inventory management and maintain optimal stock levels while assisting the Stores Head with day-to-day administrative reporting.Key ResponsibilitiesInventory & Stock Control: Maintain accurate material counts, track movements, and ensure optimal inventory levels.Storage & Organization: Implement safe material handling, proper labeling, and 5S standards to keep storage areas organized.Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with logistics teams and transporters to ensure timely material movement.Record Keeping & ERP: Maintain precise records and generate regular ERP dashboards and insights for senior management.Audit & Accuracy: Conduct regular stock audits and ensure standard nomenclature is followed to prevent repetitive item codes.People Management: Support recruitment, drive employee retention initiatives, and ensure department compliance with PMS timelines.Safety & Compliance: Ensure zero safety incidents and maintain adherence to pollution norms and IMS standards.Required Skills & QualificationsEducation: Graduate in any discipline.Certification: Mandatory skills or certification in Store Management.Experience: At least 10 years of relevant experience in a large-scale operation.Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in inventory management and the ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.Leadership: Strong interpersonal and multitasking skills to effectively oversee store personnel.
