Job OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Property Accountant to manage accounting and financial reporting for real estate investment funds. This role involves handling end-to-end accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and supporting process improvements. The ideal candidate will also contribute to team leadership and collaborate with global stakeholders. Experience in the real estate industry along with expertise in US accounting is mandatory.ResponsibilitiesManage accounting and financial reporting for multiple real estate fundsHandle accounts payable, invoice processing, and vendor paymentsPerform bank and vendor reconciliationsPrepare and review financial statements and reportsEnsure compliance with accounting standards and company policiesUse tools like Yardi, RealPage, and SAP for financial managementIdentify and implement process improvementsSupport team development, training, and mentoringQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5+ years of experience in property accountingProficiency in Yardi, RealPage, Appfolio SAP, or similar toolsStrong understanding of AP processes, reconciliations, and reportingExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyPrior experience in mentoring or leading teams is a plus
