Pre-production & Merchandiser Assistant

YH Texpert is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Pre-Production & Merchandiser Assistant to join our growing fashion team. This role supports the merchandising and production departments to ensure smooth coordination from design through final production.Job Description / Responsibilities:-Coordinate with Headquarters Design and Merchandising teams to ensure timelines and quality standards are met.-Assess production schedules to determine feasibility based on the production capabilities of various vendors.-Follow up with vendors daily to monitor progress, identify any delays, and provide quick, effective solutions.-Implement quality control measures by inspecting finished products for any defects or flaws and ensuring corrective action is taken.-Demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks, monitor progress, and identify potential challenges while formulating solutions to ensure timely order completion.-Communicate and follow up with vendors to keep samples and production timelines on track.-Support, communicate, and coordinate with the Merchandiser and Production Manager to maintain workflow efficiency.Objectives of this Role:• Oversee the production schedule to ensure timely completion. • Actively participate in production planning. • Recognize and address critical issues that may affect the production timeline. • Manage the shipping schedule to ensure on-time delivery.Requirements:-Excellent organizational and time management skills-Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask-Effective communication and follow-up skills-Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets-Passion for fashion, product development, and teamwork-Experience in production or merchandising (a plus, but not required)Join our dynamic team at YH Texpert and be part of a company that values creativity, professionalism, and dedication.
