Job title: Assistant General Manager Location: McLeodganj, Naukuchiatal (PAN INDIA) Industry: Travel, Tourism and Hotel Industry Experience Required: Minimum 6 Years in Hotel Management Responsibilities:- Oversee the operations of the property, as per the Organizational chart. Hold regular briefings and meetings with all heads of departments and team members. Ensure full compliance to Hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures and service standards. Lead all key property issues including improvements and upgradation projects, customer service and refurbishment. Handling complaints, and overseeing the service recovery procedures. Responsible for the preparation, presentation and subsequent achievement of the Propertys annual Operating Budget Manage on-going profitability of the hotel, ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded. Ensure all decisions are made in the best interest of the hotels and management. Developing improvement actions, carry out costs savings. A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategies Maximizing room yields revenue through innovative sales practices. Work along with the revenue management team in devising methodologies for maximizing revenue Act as a final decision maker in hiring key staff at the property. Overseeing and managing all departments and working closely with department heads on a daily basis. Manage and develop the Hotel Executive team to ensure career progression and development. Be accountable for responsibilities of department heads and take ownership of all guest complaints. Provide effective leadership to property team members. Qualifications Experience of at least 6 -7 year in service industry preferred Excellent communication skills Self Starter and willing to take risks Available to work anytime including weekends Excellent management and team skills Education in Hospitality, Hotel Management Mandatory
