Position Summary & ScopeTo work closely with the Digital Editor to shape the voice of Condé Nast Traveller India and execute an effective content strategy for India’s most respected and influential travel media brand. Working with stakeholders across functions and geographies to produce top-class content that is in line with the global brand strategy and KPIs.Areas of Responsibility (Key Result Areas)The RoleTo assist the Digital Editor in content strategy, daily operations and content production for all channels for the brand.Key Areas: Scaling up audiences on the platform through smart, engaging features across travel, culture and lifestyleDevelop editorial IPs across platforms, including social and eventsWork with writers across the team and outside to power the brand’s editorial platformsKey Responsibilities:To produce–write, commission, edit–exciting and engaging features for CNTTo ensure the smooth daily functioning of the CNT India websiteTo be responsible for targets across Editorial and Audience Growth To collaborate with teams across the Condé Nast global network–including CNT US, UK, Spain, Italy, Middle East and elsewhere–to drive the brand’s editorial and audience strategyTo develop relationships with trade and industryTo work closely with the Audience and SEO teams to implement a growth strategyTo work on any creative and/or commercial projects, including events, as required Ensure consistent and organised delivery of plans, including devising adequate contingency plansRequirementsThe ability to write and edit copy flawlessly, along with strong research and fact-checking skillsStrong knowledge of the Indian and international travel and culture spaceKnowledge of the global digital media space, including social, SEO concepts and analytics toolsA general awareness of current affairs, including hot button topics and cultural sensitivities is criticalAn understanding of editorial and compliance issues, and an awareness of rights issues A healthy network of writers and contributors in the lifestyle features space is preferredQualification and ExperienceEducational Qualifications RequiredBachelor’s Degree in Journalism or Communications or ArtsRelevant Experience7-9 years of relevant experience
