This role involves designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, collaborating with cross-functional agile teams, and driving best practices in software testing to help HCLTech maintain its industry leadership and commitment to excellence.Detailed Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java to validate software functionality and performance. - Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA team members to define test strategies, test plans, and acceptance criteria. - Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation. - Troubleshoot and debug test scripts and automation frameworks, ensuring high reliability and maintainability. - Contribute to continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines by integrating automated tests. - Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies, providing input on test coverage and quality risks. - Promote and implement software testing best practices, tools, and methodologies across teams. - Communicate effectively with stakeholders to clarify requirements, test outcomes, and ensure alignment on quality objectives.Skill Requirements:- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Proven experience in test automation using Selenium and Java. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices. - Hands-on experience with test planning, test case design, and test execution in agile environments. - Proficient in troubleshooting and debugging testing scripts and frameworks. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within diverse, cross-functional teams. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.Other Requirements (Optional):- ISTQB or equivalent testing certification. - Experience with additional automation tools or frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber). - Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, or GitLab CI. - Exposure to cloud-based testing environments or DevOps practices.Interested candidates can directly apply here or can share their updated resumes at aditi-agarwal@Best Regards,Aditi AgarwalHCL TechTAG Team
