Lead Quality Assurance Tester

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead in our quality assurance team to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. The QA Lead will define testing strategies, coordinate QA activities, mentor team members, and work closely with development, product, and business teams. A strong focus on API testing is required to ensure integration and system functionality.Work timings: 4:30 PM to 1:30 AMKey Responsibilities:Lead and manage the QA team, including task assignments, performance reviews, and mentorship.Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, and test cases.Oversee all phases of testing, including functional, regression, integration, API, performance, and UAT.Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure clear requirements and expectations.Identify, track, and report defects and coordinate resolution with development teams.Define and enforce QA best practices, standards, and processes.Review and approve test documentation, ensuring coverage of all features and modules, including APIs.Monitor QA metrics and prepare quality reports for management.Stay updated with emerging QA tools, trends, and technologies to enhance testing efficiency.Conduct risk analysis and provide recommendations for quality improvements.Required Skills:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.10 to 15 years in QA, with at least 2 years in a Lead or Managerial role.Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps).Hands-on experience with manual, automated, and API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI, Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Experience in defining QA processes and best practices.Preferred Skills:Experience with performance testing, security testing, and mobile testing.Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.Familiarity with cloud-based applications.Certification in QA (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
