With a reputation for protecting enterprise environments and a commitment to innovation, they support high-profile organizations across industries in securing their data and infrastructure.Job Title - Data Security AnalystLocation - Remote in India (Must be open to EST working hours, ideally 5 am–2 pm EST)Role Type - Contract through 7/30/2027Must Have Skills:Microsoft 365 & Purview FundamentalsUnderstanding of Microsoft 365 data workloads: SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook/Exchange, TeamsExperience with sensitivity labels and label policiesBasic Purview Information Protection and DLP conceptsUnderstanding of PII, PCI, and confidential data protection practicesFamiliarity with DLP actions and tuning for false positivesSecurity operations experience including log/alert review and documentationClear verbal and written communication; ability to work cross-functionallyStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills with appropriate escalation judgmentA learning mindset and passion for developing deeper security expertise (SC-900 / SC-400 certifications are a plus)Responsibilities and Job Details:Monitor, analyze, and respond to security alerts and logs across Microsoft 365 environmentsSupport and maintain data protection policies using Microsoft Purview toolsApply and manage sensitivity labels, label policies, and DLP configurationsIdentify and classify sensitive data (PII, PCI, confidential) and ensure appropriate controlsAssist in tuning DLP policies to reduce false positives and enhance enforcementDocument findings and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teamsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Security Ops, IAM, and EngineeringPerform basic troubleshooting and escalate complex issues when necessaryParticipate in ongoing knowledge development to deepen cybersecurity expertiseContribute to operational improvements in data security workflowsAssist in the implementation of best practices around data loss preventionWork effectively in a remote team environment aligned to U.S. EST hours
