The technician will provide reliable onsite support across office and technical environments.Duration: 4 months (November 2025 – February 2026)Job Requirements- 3–5 years of IT field support or hardware/software troubleshooting experience. - Experience in: - PC deployment, installation, and end-user support - Remote hands staging of infrastructure hardware - Depot workflows and basic network troubleshooting - Familiarity with: - ServiceNow, Active Directory, SCCM/Intune, SOTI - Microsoft 365 (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint) - Dell diagnostics and SupportAssist tools - Basic scripting (e.g., PowerShell or batch – helpful but not required) - Physically able to lift 40+ lbs. and travel regionally. - Associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience.Key ResponsibilitiesPC & Hardware Support- Perform on-site installation and setup of desktop PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals. - Provide remote hands support for IT hardware staging (PCs, servers, switches, etc.), including physical placement, unboxing, labeling, and power/network connectivity checks — configuration is handled remotely by others. - Support device imaging, OS upgrades, and software installations.Depot & Lifecycle Support- Participate in device lifecycle: receiving, staging, imaging, deploying, and assisting with decommissioning and secure disposal. - Support depot operations: diagnostics, hardware repair, device reimaging, and staging of laptops, desktops, and tablets. - Perform Dell-certified warranty repairs (if certified) and manage part replacements. - Maintain basic asset tracking, including incoming and outgoing equipment.Documentation & Compliance- Document service activity, imaging steps, inventory usage, and technical work performed. - Follow local site SOPs and contribute to updates (e.g., shipping checklists, imaging guides). - Ensure work aligns with infrastructure standards, safety protocols, and IT compliance.
