*HCL Tech is looking for ETL Developer for Nagpur location* Job Title: Senior ETL Developer IBM DataStage Location: Nagpur (hybrid mode) Notice period : immediate to 30 days only Experience Required: 6 to 9 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description: We are looking for a seasoned ETL Developer with strong expertise in IBM DataStage , SQL , and Data Warehousing to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing and delivering robust data integration solutions and a deep understanding of data architectures and Agile methodologies. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and deliver data integration and extraction solutions using IBM DataStage , Oracle , SQL Server , and Data Warehouse platforms . Analyze upstream data sources to debug data quality issues and guide resolution strategies. Collaborate with support teams for code migrations and production support. Lead by example in developing reusable code snippets and best practices. Maintain and refine production failure logs and escalation processes. Create and manage a knowledge base for ETL production functioning and failure points. Work in Agile environments with multiple concurrent itineraries. Drive system enhancements through the SDLC lifecycle using Agile methodologies. Lead requirement gathering and enforce best practices in analysis and documentation. Maintain deep understanding of business operations and technical project scope. Required Skills: 6-9 years of experience in ETL development. Expertise in IBM DataStage 8.x/9.x , Unix , SQL , and Data Warehousing . Strong knowledge of ETL architecture , systems analysis , and project management . Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills. Experience in Agile development methodologies and software project lifecycle. Familiarity with finance/banking industry is a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with technical writing and process flow documentation. Ability to interview business partners and manage expectations effectively. Strong analytical mindset and ability to work independently or in teams.
