Candidates who are willing to relocate to Hyderabad will be highly preferredPosition SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer to design, build, and implement automated injection molding manufacturing cells. The role involves complete ownership of turnkey automation systems including tooling design, robotic automation, EOAT, vision inspection integration, PLC programming, and full system integration within injection molding environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop turnkey automated injection molding cells, including full system architecture and executionIntegrate robots for part removal, handling, trimming, inspection, and packaging operationsDesign and develop end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), fixtures, and automation mechanismsBuild automated systems covering demolding, degating, inspection, leak testing, assembly, and packagingInterface and integrate automation with injection molding machines and auxiliary equipmentTooling & Mechanical DesignDesign injection molds and tooling components aligned with automation requirementsDevelop automation fixtures, nests, and EOAT systemsCreate detailed CAD models and manufacturing drawingsSelect and integrate sensors, actuators, pneumatics, and motion componentsCollaborate with toolmakers and machine shops for executionControls & Electrical IntegrationProgram PLCs (Allen Bradley / Siemens preferred)Integrate robots, vision systems, sensors, pneumatics, and servo systemsDevelop HMI interfaces for system controlImplement safety systems and interlocksCommission, debug, and optimize complete automation cellsRequired Skills (Non-Negotiable)Injection molding expertiseTooling design capabilityRobotics integrationEOAT designPLC programmingMechanical design (SolidWorks or equivalent)Vision system integrationAutomation troubleshootingPreferred ExperienceLiquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) moldingMedical device manufacturing environmentsCleanroom automationVision inspection systemsLeak testing systemsTurnkey automation cell build experienceEducation / ExperienceMechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, Robotics, or Manufacturing Engineering degree, or equivalent hands-on experience with 15+ years in automation and injection molding systems
