Sensor Development Engineer

We are hiring a highly motivated Sensor Development Engineer to join our cutting-edge R&D team working on next-generation solid-state electrochemical gas sensors.Location: Nagpur, MaharashtraJob Type: Full-TimeExperience Level: 2–4 YearsIndustry: Electrochemistry, Gas Sensor Technology, Applied R&DWebsite: the RoleYou will be involved in hands-on fabrication, testing, and optimization of electrochemical gas sensors. This includes working extensively in the laboratory, performing experiments, analyzing sensor data, and enhancing sensor performance through systematic experimentation.Key Responsibilities- Design, fabricate, and evaluate electrochemical gas sensors - Conduct electrochemical experiments, including potentiometric measurements and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy - Optimize electrodes, catalysts, electrolytes, and interfaces - Develop fabrication techniques such as screen printing and coating - Perform calibration, selectivity, and long-term stability testing - Analyze sensor data using Python, Excel, Origin, or MATLAB - Collaborate closely with Electronics, Mechanical, and Product Design teams - Maintain lab documentation, SOPs, and reports - Support scaling up from prototypes to reproducible sensor batchesQualifications and Experience- B.Tech/M.Tech/M.Sc/Ph.D. in Electrochemistry, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related fields - 2–4 years’ experience in electrochemical or gas sensor development - Strong understanding of electrochemical and redox principles - Experience with potentiostats and gas testing setups - Data analysis and programming experience is a plus - Ability to independently plan and troubleshoot experimentsCompensation and Benefits- Competitive salary with fixed + performance-linked components - Medical insurance - EPF as per statutory norms - Opportunity to work on cutting-edge electrochemical sensor technologies - Long-term growth in applied R&D and product developmentHow to ApplySend your resume and a brief cover letter highlighting hands-on electrochemical or sensor experience to: dayananda@, careers@
