AI/ML Engineer

Role OverviewWe are seeking an AI/ML Engineer with a passion for building functional, scalable, and intelligent applications. You will be responsible for bridging the gap between data science research and product engineering. You will design, develop, and deploy machine learning models, with a specific focus on Large Language Model (LLM) integration and data pipeline optimization. You will work closely with our CTO and CEO to translate business vision into high-performing algorithmic solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect AI Solutions: Design and implement scalable pipelines for LLM-based applications, including RAG systems and autonomous agents.Pipeline Engineering: Design robust data ingestion pipelines and manage vector databases for RAG-based architectures.Productionize Models: Take models from a notebook/prototype stage to a robust, monitored production environment.Model Deployment: Deploy models into production environments, ensuring high availability and low latency.Optimization: Fine-tune prompts and model parameters to balance performance, accuracy, and API costs.Collaboration: Work closely with the product team to understand requirements and translate them into technical AI solutions.Technical RequirementsProgramming: Strong proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Flask, and similar).AI/ML Frameworks: Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack, Crew AI or Scikit-learn.Databases: Working knowledge of Vector Databases (e.g., Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate, or Chroma DB) and SQL/NoSQL.LLMs: Experience working with OpenAI, or Open-Source models.Tools: Proficiency with Git, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).Foundation: Strong understanding of embeddings, fine-tuning techniques, and prompt engineering.
