Learning & Development (L&D) ManagerLocation – Nagpur (WFO)Experience – 8+YearsRole PurposeThe Learning & Development Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling learning strategies aligned with business goals, project readiness, and future skill demand. The role ensures that employees are continuously upskilled, deployment-ready, and aligned with organizational growth plans.Key Responsibilities1. L&D Strategy & Leadership Alignment• Partner with leadership and management to build short-term and long-term L&D strategies aligned with business growth and revenue goals.• Translate business priorities into structured learning roadmaps and capability-building initiatives.• Drive successful implementation and adoption of the Learning Management System (LMS).2. Skill Demand & Workforce Readiness• Identify current and future skill demand across BI, Data Engineering, Cloud, AI, Power Platform, and emerging technologies.• Track skill readiness for billable deployment in coordination with RMG and delivery teams.• Identify bench resources and analyze skill gaps across the organization.3. Learning Path Design & Execution• Plan role-based and experience-based learning paths with the Education team, with clear timelines and measurable outcomes.• Design end-to-end learning journeys including foundational, intermediate, and advanced tracks.• Plan, track, and monitor learning progress, assessments, certifications, and readiness status.• Maintain a centralized learning repository, curriculum documentation, and trackers for transparency and reporting.4. Instructional Design & Course Development (Added)• Own the end-to-end course development lifecycle (CDLC) — needs analysis, design, development, review, rollout, and evaluation.• Design engaging learning content including e-learning modules, instructor-led training (ILT), blended learning, and microlearning.• Apply instructional design principles (ADDIE, Bloom’s Taxonomy, adult learning theory) to ensure effective learning outcomes.• Collaborate with SMEs and trainers to convert technical content into learner-friendly, structured courses.• Ensure content quality, consistency, and relevance across all learning programs.5. Assessments, Certifications & Readiness• Plan and execute skill assessments, mock interviews, and readiness evaluations.• Track feedback from trainers, attendees, and interview panels to define targeted upskilling actions.• Drive certification and upskilling recognition programs to motivate continuous learning.6. Deployment & Talent Readiness Coordination• Work closely with RMG to coordinate deployment planning and talent readiness.• Share visibility of available skills and a ready talent pool with stakeholders.• Support faster deployment through proactive readiness planning.7. Learning Programs & Initiatives• Plan leadership, mindset, and behavioural development programs.• Plan and execute workshops, enablement sessions, internal bootcamps initiatives.• Ensure high-quality execution, learner engagement, and outcome-based delivery across all programs.8. Education Business & Growth Support• Support education business growth initiatives through structured internal and external training programs.• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for training delivery and enablement.• Contribute to scalable learning models that support both internal and external audiences.9. Onboarding & L&D Induction• Connect with all new lateral joiners to ensure smooth L&D induction.• Define onboarding learning journeys to enable faster integration and productivity.10. Governance, Reporting & Continuous Improvement• Define L&D KPIs and regularly report learning impact, readiness metrics, and ROI to leadership.• Continuously improve learning programs based on feedback, business needs, and performance data.• Ensure compliance with internal learning standards and audit readiness where applicable.Key Skills & Competencies (Enhanced)• Strong understanding of IT services, consulting, and project-based environments• Instructional Design expertise and hands-on course development experience• Strong knowledge of Course Development Life Cycle (CDLC)• Proficiency with authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia• Experience designing ILT, VILT, e-learning, blended learning, and microlearning programs• Experience in LMS administration, content hosting, reporting, and learner tracking• Stakeholder management across leadership, RMG, delivery, HR, and trainers• Data-driven mindset with strong tracking, analytics, and reporting skills• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution• Excellent communication, facilitation, documentation, and program management skillsExperience & Qualifications• 8–12 years of experience in Learning & Development, preferably in IT / Analytics / Consulting organizations• Proven experience in course design, instructional design, and large-scale learning rollouts• Experience in workforce readiness, deployment-linked learning, and skill-based planning• Certification in L&D, Instructional Design, Talent Development, or related areas preferred.
