We invest heavily in onboarding, training, systems, and integration, and we are looking for people who want to grow with the business over time.Position OverviewThis role involves advanced bookkeeping and payroll work across a portfolio of Australian clients. You will work within clearly documented procedures, supported by structured workflows, task management systems, and a collaborative remote team.The role suits someone who values clarity, structure, accountability, and professional standards, and who is comfortable being responsible for delivery rather than loosely defined tasks.How the Engagement WorksThis role is performed day-to-day as part of the Exdia team, working on Australian client systems and processes.Roles are primarily scope-based, not traditional hourly employment:Each role has a defined scope of responsibility with an agreed monthly valueWork is planned carefully and supported by strong proceduresAccountability and delivery matter more than clock-watchingThere are limited exceptions:During probation, work may be tracked hourly at a probationary rateAdditional project or internal operations work may be offered separatelyRelevate also operates an Offline Rest Policy, supporting sustainable work patterns alongside clear delivery expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping & AccountingAccounts payable and receivableBank and balance sheet reconciliationsSystem checks and data integrity reviewsJournals, reporting, and month-end processesFile clean-ups, repairs, and rebuildsBacklog and catch-up projectsGST and related compliance workOther bookkeeping and accounting support as requiredPayroll ProcessingPayroll system setup and configurationNew employee onboarding and setupPay item and template configurationReading and interpreting Australian employment awardsPAYG, superannuation, and salary sacrifice processingOngoing payroll compliance and administrationOperational & Team SupportManaging incoming emails and task triageDaily schedule and workflow managementClient and internal team communicationsParticipation in meetings and coordination activitiesGeneral business operations support as requiredOur ValuesOur values guide how we work with clients and with each other.
