With over 6,000+ high-volume U.S. and international financial transactions annually, our finance team plays a critical role in ensuring accuracy, transparency, compliance, and operational efficiency across global operations.Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and senior-level Bookkeeper / Accountant with proven expertise in handling high-volume U.S. financial transactions. The ideal candidate will be based in India (preferably Nagpur) and will work full-time remotely, with the ability to collaborate across time zones and occasionally travel to the United States when required.This role requires deep QuickBooks Online expertise, excellent reconciliation skills, and advanced financial reporting ability. The position reports directly to the Global CFO and Audit Manager and involves close collaboration with our CPA in Phoenix and senior management in Mountain View, California.This is a senior, hands-on role where you will not only manage transaction processing but also play a key role in financial controls, debt repayment planning, and turnaround strategy support.Key ResponsibilitiesTransaction Management & Bookkeeping- Accurately record and categorize 6,000+ annual transactions in QuickBooks Online. - Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, reimbursements, and payroll. - Ensure proper classification of vendor invoices and client payments. - Maintain updated general ledger and sub-ledgers.Reconciliations & Controls- Perform monthly bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations. - Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies quickly and independently. - Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with firm policies and accounting standards.Reporting & Strategic Support- Prepare monthly/quarterly financial reports (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow). - Support Global CFO, Audit Manager, and CPA with transaction-level reporting and reconciliations. - Provide financial analysis for debt repayment, restructuring, and cash flow management. - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity planning.Compliance & Audit Readiness- Ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. - Maintain supporting documentation for audit and tax filings. - Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and data integrity.Essential Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CA preferred). - 5+ years of senior bookkeeping/accounting experience, with high-volume U.S. transactions. - Mastery of QuickBooks Online (required). - Proven expertise in bank/credit card reconciliations and financial reporting. - Strong Google Sheets and Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, reconciliation analysis). - Experience working across U.S. and India time zones. - High attention to detail, accuracy, and independence in problem-solving. - Willingness to work from Nagpur in person or travel to the U.S. when required.Why Join Us- This is an opportunity to join a fast-paced global law firm at a senior level, where your expertise will directly impact financial strategy, debt management, and operational excellence.
