This role will report directly to the Vice President and will serve as a key partner to Sales, Delivery, and Practice teams to shape winning solutions and accelerate revenue growth.The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on presales experience, deep retail domain expertise, and a background in global IT services organizations.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Presales & Solution LeadershipOwn end-to-end presales and proposal development for retail opportunities, ensuring clear win themes, solution differentiation, and complianceLead strategy discussions with Sales, Practice, and Delivery teams to define account plans, deal strategies, and solution roadmapsPartner closely with Sales to drive large deals, managed services engagements, and long-term retail transformation programsManage opportunity lifecycle: prospect → evaluate → propose → closeRetail Domain & Client EngagementProvide subject matter expertise in retail technology, advising clients on architecture, modernization, and transformation strategiesLead due diligence, solution definition, and roadmap development for complex retail engagementsParticipate in all phases of customer opportunities including ideation, estimation, design, implementation planning, and transition to deliveryAct as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholdersProposal & RFP ManagementLead and manage RFI/RFP responses, including functional and technical sectionsAnalyze RFP requirements, create outlines and storyboards, and ensure all compliance elements are metWrite, review, and refine proposal content to ensure consistency of messaging and articulation of win strategyCoordinate with internal and external stakeholders for content, graphics, pricing inputs, and approvalsManage proposal schedules, milestones, reviews, and final submissionsConduct proposal kick-off meetings, reviews, and governance checkpointsPractice & Content DevelopmentSupport development and maintenance of internal content assets including:Retail capability statementsSolution decks and presentationsCase studies, past performance, and reusable proposal contentContribute to retail practice growth, positioning, and thought leadershipRetail/Ecommerce experience is mandatory. Priority will be given to candidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas:E-commerce platforms & omnichannel retailSupply chain, merchandising, and inventory systemsStore operations, POS, and digital store technologiesData, analytics, AI/ML for retailRetail cloud modernization (AWS, Azure, GCP)(Robotics and automation experience is a plus, but not required.Essential Education, Skills, and Environment:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)8–12+ years of experience across presales, delivery, and/or practice leadership within the retail verticalProven success managing presales functions and large IT services proposalsStrong experience working in global IT services or consulting organizationsExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and solutioning capabilitiesEntrepreneurial mindset with strong customer and quality focus
