Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)

We are looking for a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) to support and optimize a large-scale enterprise environment (600+ users).Key Responsibilities:Own reliability, availability, and performance of enterprise-scale AVD environmentsManage and optimize shared/pooling compute modelsTroubleshoot issues across Azure compute, networking, storage, and identityImplement monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworksDrive incident response and root cause analysis (RCA)Automate operations using PowerShell scriptingEnsure cost optimization while maintaining performance and stabilityManage FSLogix profiles and integrate enterprise security tools like ZscalerHandle patching, upgrades, and lifecycle managementRequired Skills:5+ years in SRE / Azure Infrastructure rolesHands-on experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD/WVD)Strong experience with FSLogix (profile management & troubleshooting)Experience working in large-scale environments (500+ users)Expertise in Azure troubleshooting (compute, networking, storage, identity)Experience with Zscaler integrationsStrong knowledge of PowerShell and automationExperience in monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Alerts)Solid understanding of incident management & reliability engineering principlesNice to Have:Experience with VDI platforms (Citrix, VMware Horizon)Exposure to Intune, Endpoint ManagerKnowledge of Zero Trust / Cloud Security
