JD – Asst. Manager – Production (Converting)Education:• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Location : Mundra Experience:• At least 7 - 8 years of experience in production management within a manufacturing or converting environment, with hands-on experience in operating and troubleshooting extruders and moulding machinery.Job Summary:• The Assistant Manager - Production (Converting) will be responsible for overseeing and managing the converting processes, including moulding technology and extruder operations in the production line.This role requires a deep understanding of production processes, technical expertise in moulding and extrusion technologies, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in production efficiency, quality, and safety.Key Requirements:• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Moulding Technology, Extrusion processes, and related production techniques. Ability to troubleshoot and optimize machinery performance.• Leadership Skills: Proven experience in leading and managing a production team, with strong organizational and decision-making skills.• Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on minimizing downtime and improving production efficiency.• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise with cross-functional teams and senior management.• Safety: Knowledge of industrial safety standards and a track record of implementing safety protocols in manufacturing environments.
