Location: Mumbai, IndiaExperience: 2–4 yearsDepartment: Post ProductionEmployment Type: Full-timeRole OverviewWe’re looking for a highly skilled and fast-paced Junior Video Editor to work under the guidance of the Senior Video Editor and contribute to the editing of short, impactful vertical dramas.The ideal candidate must have a strong command over Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, a sharp sense of storytelling rhythm, and the ability to execute creative edits quickly and efficiently while maintaining quality.Key Responsibilities- Editing & Assembly - Edit vertical drama episodes as per the provided script and creative brief. - Assemble footage, select the best takes, and create compelling story flows. - Ensure pacing, transitions, and shot selections are engaging and suitable for vertical storytelling. - Deliver quick and high-quality turnarounds on daily edits and revisions. - Creative Execution - Implement the creative direction and feedback from the Senior Video Editor. - Experiment with transitions, effects, and innovative edit styles suited for mobile-first content. - Add basic motion graphics, text treatments, and visual accents using After Effects. - Work closely with sound designers and music producers to ensure a cohesive audio-visual output. - Technical & Workflow Management - Manage and organize project files, timelines, and assets systematically. - Apply basic color correction (CC) and grading adjustments as needed. - Integrate workflows with post-production teams — including sound, color, and packaging units. - Ensure all deliverables meet the technical and creative standards set by the senior editor. - Adaptability & Innovation - Stay updated with new editing trends, tools, and creative techniques. - Adapt quickly to changing creative briefs and editing styles. - Work efficiently under tight schedules without compromising quality.Requirements & Qualifications- 2–4 years of professional experience in video editing or digital content creation. - Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. - Basic knowledge of color correction and motion graphics. - Understanding of editing workflows for OTT, digital, or social-first video content. - Ability to work under deadlines with speed and precision. - Excellent sense of timing, storytelling, and visual rhythm. - Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and creative direction.Preferred Skills- Familiarity with Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro. - Awareness of vertical content aesthetics and platform-based editing nuances (Reels, Shorts, etc.). - Basic understanding of AI-assisted editing tools or new-gen post workflows
