Platforms: Multi-vertical B2B media brands across engineering sectors — print editions, digital editions, websites, and mobile apps.About the RoleThe Editorial Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the editorial team across various industry-focused media platforms. The role involves gathering, creating, editing, and publishing high-quality B2B content catered to the engineering and manufacturing ecosystem. The candidate will work closely with editors, industry partners, conference delegates, and technology experts to ensure timely and accurate dissemination of industry intelligence.Responsibilities- Assist in developing editorial content for print magazines, digital e-magazines, websites, and mobile applications - Conduct in-depth research using secondary news sources, industry reports, corporate announcements, and market studies - Coordinate and conduct interviews with industry leaders, OEMs, technology providers, consultants, and associations - Prepare news articles, feature stories, press releases, event reports, and technology trend articles - Proofread and edit content for language, structure, accuracy, and brand voice adherence - Manage social media scheduling (SMM) across LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and X using editorial calendars - Support execution and moderation of editorial webinars, online conferences, and expert panel discussions - Attend industry exhibitions, conferences, press meets, and product launches for event coverage and networking - Coordinate with the design, marketing, and digital teams to ensure timely publishing across platforms - Maintain content archives, interview transcripts, and editorial documentationQualifications- Graduation in Journalism / Mass Communication / English / Media Studies — Mandatory - Prior internships or experience in B2B journalism / technology publishing will be an added advantageRequired Skills- Strong command over written and spoken English - Excellent news writing, interviewing, and technology-oriented communication skills - Familiarity with B2B industrial sectors (manufacturing, engineering, automation, energy, construction, etc.) is an advantage - Ability to manage deadlines and multi-project responsibilities - Proficiency in MS Office / Google Workspace, and comfort with basic CMS & social media tools - Ability to work independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teamsFull-time role based at I-Tech Media Pvt.
