Roles and Responsibilities of a Video Editor @ Zoo Media :- Understand the client requirements and complete end-to-end execution of the project. - Manipulate and edit film pieces in a way that is invisible to the audience - Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film - Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects - Create rough and final cuts - Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running - Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process - Be a part of brainstorming and ideation sessions with the Video Producers and Creative teams. - Coordinate with the necessary internal teams (Account Management and Creative) before finalizing the edits. - Work on the Post-Production part of the project. Work with the Video Producers, Video Animators and Creative teams closely.. - Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency.
