Comic Scriptwriter (Contract) - WeInvert Media The comic scriptwriter will be a crucial creative contributor in the pre-production phase, crafting engaging and imaginative comic scripts for high-quality projects. This role is essential in shaping the narrative and visual storytelling, ensuring it aligns with the platform's creative vision and connects well with the audience. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate closely with content creators, illustrators, writers, and producers to execute upcoming comic projects. Define and discuss the overarching creative vision and goals for each comic series or project. Ensure that creative concepts align with WeInvert Media's brand identity and target audience. Develop detailed script breakdowns including dialogue, panel descriptions, and pacing. Oversee the creation of storyboards and shot division in coordination with illustrators to visualize narrative flow and visual direction. Adapt storytelling techniques to the unique demands of comic formatting, ensuring strong character development, engaging plot arcs, and visual coherence. Qualifications: Minimum 3-4 years of experience writing scripts, ideally for comics, graphic novels, or related media. Excellent communication and storytelling skills with a strong grasp of comic narrative structure. Comfortable interacting directly with clients and creative teams. Previous experience in a creative agency or media production environment is preferred. Ability to work collaboratively and under contract with defined deadlines. Employment Type: Contract
