Company Description Melo Films has been producing non-fiction stories for over a decade and is now venturing into fiction space with short series for our channel.Role Description This is afull-time role for an In-HouseVideo Editor based inMumbai , with the flexibility of occasionalwork-from-home options. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and enhancing video content. Key tasks include sorting raw footage, creating edits based on the scripts, understanding and incorporating feedback to finalise edit, basic sound edit, applying professional color grading, incorporating motion graphics, and ensuring cohesive and high-quality output aligned with project objectives. Collaboration with creative teams and adherence to deadlines will be essential.Qualifications Proficiency in Video Editing tools and techniques Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Previous experience of at least 3 years in fiction narrative Skills in Video Color Grading for professional and polished visuals Experience in creating Motion Graphics and Graphics for dynamic content Ability to meet tight deadlines and work in a collaborative team environment Bachelor’s degree in Film Editing , Visual Arts, or related field preferredJoining will be immediate.
