Position: Managing EditorInstitution Name: Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Publications, Mumbai (History · Culture · Philosophy · Yoga · Epics)Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, one of India’s premier cultural institutions, invites applications for Managing Editors to strengthen its publishing programme, in Mumbai.Role & Responsibilities : · Oversee editing of books on history of India, culture, philosophy, yoga, and epics like the Ramayana and Mahabharata. · Coordinate with proofreaders and authors to ensure high quality publications. · Lead the preparation of revised editions of existing titles and initiate work on new publications.Eligibility: PG in in History, Political Science, Philosophy, Sanskrit, Mass Communication or Library Science Minimum 10 years of experience as a Managing Editor in a publishing house, newspaper, or periodical. Prior teaching/research experience/ Authoring books is an added advantage.
