If you live and breathe news, have an eye for detail, and can craft punchy, tabloid-style headlines that make readers stop at the newsstand, this role is for you.Key Responsibilities Edit and polish reporter copy for accuracy, clarity, and flow. Craft sharp, catchy headlines, captions, and intros. Package stories with designers forPage 1, City, Nation, and World . Track wires, social media, and news sites for breaking updates. Enrich stories with data, facts, and context relevant to readers. Proof and release error-free pages on tight deadlines.Requirements 4–5 years of experienceinprint journalism(daily newspaper or tabloid preferred). Strong command of English with provencopy editingexperience. Skilled at writingcatchy, tabloid-style headlines . Deep awareness ofcity, state, national, and international news . Familiarity with newsroom deadlines and page-making tools (InDesign/QuarkXPress preferred). Based inMumbai(or strong knowledge of the Mumbai market).
