Cross Platform Producer & EditorOur client, a world-leading organization in finance and news and media industry, looking for a highly versatile and ambitious Producer/Shooter/Editor to create short-form non-fictional digital videos for their team, with stories originating from the client’s newsroom. This is a 12-month contract role, five days per week, onsite in their Mumbai office. This role is ideal for a digital-first visual storyteller with experience in non-fiction, explainer-style video content. You will be responsible for transforming complex topics across business, technology, markets, and global culture into engaging, high-impact video stories for online and social audiences. Key Responsibilities:Produce end-to-end digital video stories, from pitch to publish, including research, pre-pro, scripting, field and studio production, editing and deliveryTranslate newsroom reporting into clear, engaging, explainer-style short-form videos.Create non-fiction storytelling content that simplifies complex topics through strong narrative and visualsWork on tight deadlines and balance multiple projects in a fast-paced digital news environmentFilm a variety of setups (interviews, activities) in both studio and fieldOversee freelance production crews, in person and remotelyEdit efficiently in Adobe Premiere, incorporating original footage as well as stock and archival footageCollaborate with design teams to integrate graphics, motion, and visual storytelling elementsMaintain strong alignment with editorial voice and journalistic standardWrite headlines and descriptions optimized for digital and social platforms that clearly communicate complex topics to a broad audience Key Requirements:4-6+ years of experience in digital video production within a newsroom or digital publisherStrong portfolio demonstrating non-fiction storytelling, documentary-style, or news video workExtensive experience editing in Adobe Premiere and the Adobe Creative SuiteStrong communication and project management skills, with the ability to keep multiple time sensitive projects on track at a time with all stakeholders clear on timelines and expectationsProven ability to research, script, shoot, and edit high-quality digital video contentStrong news judgment with proven ability to research and break down complicated editorial concepts into clear scripts and interview questionsExperience collaborating with print reporters to create visually compelling storiesHands-on experience with professional camera equipment (Sony, Canon, Blackmagic or equivalent) in both production and post production environmentsWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applicants from all sections of the community, regardless of age, sex, gender (or gender identity), ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, and transgender status.Unfortunately, we are only able to contact applicants who are successful to interview stage.
