Cross Platform Producer & EditorOur client, a world-leading organization in finance and news and media industry, looking for a highly versatile and ambitious Producer/Shooter/Editor to create short-form news videos for their team, with stories originating from the client’s newsroom. This is a 12-month contract role, five days per week, onsite in their Mumbai office.This role is ideal for a visual storyteller who can move efficiently and accurately from pitch to publish, creating compelling video stories that explain the forces shaping business, technology, markets, and global culture.The ideal candidate will have experience in video production within a newsroom or digital publisher, with proficiency in Adobe Premiere and the Adobe Creative Suite.Key Responsibilities:Produce end-to-end video stories, from receiving a pitch all the way through publication, including research, pre-pro, scripting, field and studio production, editing and deliveryTranslate news and enterprise reporting into compelling short-form videos for digital and social audiences. The result will be dynamic, high-impact short-form videos that explain complex topics with clarity and strong visual storytellingWork on tight deadlines and balance multiple projects in a fast-paced news environmentFilm a variety of setups (interviews, activities) in both studio and fieldOversee freelance production crews, in person and remotelyEdit quickly and efficiently in Adobe Premiere, incorporating original footage as well as stock and archival footageCollaborate with our creative design team to develop graphics and motion elements when appropriateFollow and refine processes to ensure clear and professional communication with client’s Newsroom reporters and editors in order to maintain Client’s editorial voice and journalistic standards across all contentPrepare for publishing by drafting headlines and descriptions that clearly communicate complex topics to a broad audienceKey Requirements:4-6+ years of experience in video production within a newsroom or digital publisherExtensive experience editing in Adobe Premiere and the Adobe Creative SuiteStrong communication and project management skills, with the ability to keep multiple time sensitive projects on track at a time with all stakeholders clear on timelines and expectationsDemonstrated ability to write, produce, shoot and edit your own digital videosStrong news judgment with proven ability to research and break down complicated editorial concepts into clear scripts and interview questionsExperience collaborating with print reporters to create visually compelling storiesExperience working in person and remotely with freelance crewsExperience with professional cameras (Sony, Canon, Blackmagic or equivalent) in both production and post production environmentsWe are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applicants from all sections of the community, regardless of age, sex, gender (or gender identity), ethnicity, disability, sexual orientation, and transgender status.Unfortunately, we are only able to contact applicants who are successful to interview stage.
