Technical Specialist - Refrigerated Container

Job Description – Design & Technical Specification Engineer Role Overview We are seeking a technically skilled engineer who can handle both design (2D/3D) and technical documentation . The candidate will play a key role in creating designs, calculating heat loads, and developing technical specifications to support our product development and client projects. Key Responsibilities Create and modify 2D/3D designs of cold chain equipment, containers, and related solutions using CAD software. Perform heat load calculations and recommend appropriate refrigeration/insulation specifications. Draft, review, and update technical specifications, drawings, and BOMs. Collaborate with sales, operations, and procurement teams to align designs with project requirements. Prepare technical datasheets, compliance documents, and customer proposals . Ensure all designs meet industry standards, certifications (ISO, ASHRAE, etc.), and safety requirements. Support R&D for customized cold chain solutions. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in design and technical documentation (cold chain, refrigeration, or HVAC preferred). Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar 2D/3D design software . Strong knowledge of heat load calculations, refrigeration cycles, and insulation materials . Experience in preparing technical drawings, BOMs, and specification sheets. Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and communication skills.
