The successful candidate will be the Electrical Subject Matter Expert for projects with reporting line to Project Director.Job Responsibilities:Projects Review all Electrical designs coordinate with consultants and vendors for detailed engineering & GFCs while providing feedback too as per site requirement.Interact with respective SMEs engineers on key technology related decision makingLead the execution of the complete Electrical System (including MV/ LV side, UPS, PDUs, Xmers, DG etc.) to commissioningCoordinate with all relevant internal and external stakeholders to facilitate flawless execution of the project and continue to effectively manage relationships with all stakeholdersCarry out day to day coordination with site contractors to resolve site related services issues for proper installationValidate/ witness the testing and commissioning of all electrical equipment with regards to design/ SLD to ensure smooth SAT and ISTParticipate in equipment FAT, as requiredDrive all the critical snags timely and ensure resolution before SAT & ISTEnsure electrical power supply provisioning to all floors is undertakenValidate all the measurements to support invoicing team with regards to installation of low side work, equipment etcCreate and maintain comprehensive project documentation and drive the IST prior to project handover phaseConstantly study current best practices across the industry and implement the same by adapting/customizing as requiredOperations:Ensure a seamless transition post project closure by undertaking all necessary handover activities with relevant stakeholders including fulfilling necessary documentation requirementsHanding over the project documents to Operation team post IST/ during HOTOPrepare guidelines for safety checks / risks assessment for electrical equipment and accordingly create checklistsDrive compliance to safety norms by contractors during the construction phaseSafety:Prepare guidelines for safety checks / risks assessment for electrical equipment and accordingly create checklistsDrive compliance to safety norms by contractors during the construction phase Requirements:Diploma / Degree in Electrical EngineeringAt least 5 years of relevant experience in data centre projectsPrior experience in data centre infrastructure executing mission critical facilitiesPrior experience in managing data centre projects and handover to stakeholder within scheduleMust have experience/ engaged for carrying out IST with hyperscale customers in data centre projectsOther Added AdvantageCertified Data Centre Professional (CDCP), Certified Data Centre Management Professional (CDCMP), or similar, are highly desirable.
