Job Description1. Safety Compliance & Implementation- Implement company safety policies across warehouses, hubs, and transport operations. - Ensure compliance with statutory safety norms (Factories Act, Labour Laws, Fire Safety, etc.). - Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments. - Maintain safety documentation, registers, permits, and compliance records.2. Warehouse & Transport Safety- Monitor safe loading/unloading, material handling, stacking, and storage practices. - Ensure safe movement of forklifts, trucks, and manpower within premises. - Enforce PPE usage for drivers, loaders, helpers, and warehouse staff. - Conduct vehicle safety checks and driver safety briefings.3. Training & Awareness- Conduct induction safety training for new joinees. - Organize regular toolbox talks and refresher safety programs. - Create awareness on fire safety, emergency response, and accident prevention.4. Incident Management- Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe acts. - Prepare incident reports with root cause analysis and corrective actions. - Coordinate with management for preventive measures.5. Emergency Preparedness- Maintain emergency response plans. - Conduct mock drills (fire, evacuation, accident response). - Coordinate with local authorities and emergency services when required.6. Reporting & Coordination- Prepare monthly safety MIS and compliance reports. - Coordinate with Operations, HR, and Admin teams for safety improvements. - Support audits by internal teams and external authorities.Key Skills & Competencies- Strong knowledge of industrial, warehouse, and transport safety practices. - Good communication and training skills. - Ability to enforce discipline and safety standards on the shop floor. - Practical approach with strong observation and reporting capability. - Basic knowledge of statutory safety requirements.Qualification & Experience- Graduate / Diploma in Safety / Industrial Safety preferred. - 2–5 years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or industrial safety. - Certification in Safety (NEBOSH / IOSH / ADIS) will be an added advantage.
