Location: Mira Road (5 to 10 mins walking from Mira Road Railway Station)Shift Timings: 10.00 am to 6.00 pm.Working Days: 6 Days.Company Website: Latest Project: Summary:The Safety Officer is responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment at the residential construction site by implementing safety policies, monitoring compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture among workers, contractors, and site staff.Key Responsibilities:Implement and monitor site safety policies in compliance with statutory and company standards.Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.Identify hazards and ensure corrective and preventive actions are taken.Ensure proper use of PPE by all site personnel.Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions for workers.Monitor work at heights, excavation, lifting operations, scaffolding, and electrical safety.Investigate accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions; prepare incident reports.Maintain safety documentation, registers, permits, and statutory records.Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors on safety matters.Ensure compliance with local labor laws, EHS norms, and fire safety requirements.Qualifications & Skills:Diploma / Degree in Safety, Engineering, or relevant certification (NEBOSH / IOSH / ADIS preferred).2–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in residential or building construction projects.Strong knowledge of construction safety standards and local regulations.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to handle emergency situations and enforce safety rules effectively.Experience in high-rise residential projects.First-aid and fire safety training certification.
