The Assistant Sales Manager will oversee customer engagement, sales pipeline management, and the development of strategies to drive sales growth. Responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, maintaining long-term client relationships, conducting market research, monitoring sales performance, and collaborating with the sales team to achieve targets. The individual will also participate in presenting analytical solutions to clients and managing pre- and post-sales inquiries.Salary6-8 lacs per annumQualificationsExperience in Analytical, Pharmaceutical or Laboratory Equipment Sales.Sales and client relationship management skills, with proven experience in achieving sales targets and developing long-term partnerships.Market research and business development skills to identify opportunities and create strategies for accelerated growth.Communication and interpersonal skills for presenting solutions, negotiating deals, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders.Analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and familiarity with modern sales tools or CRM systems.Knowledge of analytical instruments and experience in the scientific or industrial equipment industry is an advantage.Proficiency in English, and knowledge of additional local languages is a plus.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. A postgraduate degree or MBA is preferred.Note: This role is a full time role based out of Mumbai.
