Designation: DGM / GM - Project Sales (Water & Waste water Treatment Plants)Location :Mumbai / DelhiFunction/Group: Project SalesBrief Role description: Role carries an Order Intake Target. Engage with Industrial clients, EPCs, consultants, and others through a consultative sales approach to achieve engineering project business. Technical discussions; presentations; influencing; stakeholder mapping to maneuver towards a win.Review RFQs and work with the central proposal team for optimal solution positioning.Pursuit specific ownership and Game Plan preparation, and implementing Key To Win actions. Strong Grasp of regulations and geography; familiarity with the decision-making cycle and project lifecycle; strong commercial acumen. This is a client/market-facing role.Key Responsibilities – Engineering/Project SalesIdentify and Develop New Business Opportunities / Order Booking TargetTrack upcoming projects, tenders, and client requirements in target sectors to generate new sales leads and achieve order booking targets.Manage and Enable Engagement for the Project Pursuit Game PlanHandle the entire process from lead generation (inputs from KAMs and Marketing teams where available), client/consultant engagement, PQ and specification management jointly with marketing teams, and moat and entry barriers creation for keeping specific competition at bay. Closure activities, including final negotiation and order closure.Pursuit Ownership: Prepare and follow/enable action on a Pursuit Plan of Actions with involvement of Pursuit team members to increase win chances. Initiate and review two-stage screening for optimal decisions to invest time.
