Job Title:Surgical SalesSpecialistRole: To sell German-made surgical instruments to Surgeons, Corporate Hospitals, Trust Hospitals, and Medical College Hospitals in and around Mumbai. You will act as aClinical Consultantto surgeons, moving beyond traditional sales to provide technical expertise and value-based solutions that enhance surgical precision. This role involves understanding deep customer needs, building consultative relationships, and ensuring high customer satisfaction to drive sales and achieve company targets.Responsibilities: Lead Generation and Conversion:Generate and convert leads into sales opportunities. Customer Relationship Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Sales Execution:Follow sales strategies to achieve individual and team sales targets. Payment Follow-up:Ensure timely collection of payments for all sales. Product Knowledge:Stay updated with the latest products and industry trends to effectively communicate value to clients.Tasks & Activities:Lead Generation and conversion Generate and convert leads through proper planning with the sales team . Conduct initial outreach to leads via phone, email, or in-person meetings. Qualify leads to determine their potential for conversion.Customer Relationship Management Schedule and conduct regular meetings with current and potential clients. Provide product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs. Address client concerns and provide solutions to meet their requirements.Sales Execution Participate in sales meetings to discuss strategies and progress. Prepare sales pitches and presentations that align with company guidelines. Provide in-OT support and technical guidance to surgeons during product trials Close sales by negotiating terms and securing orders.Payment Follow-up Send invoices and reminders for payment as per agreed terms. Follow up with clients to ensure timely payment collection. Collaborate with the finance department to resolve any payment-related issues. Update the CRM system with payment status and any relevant notes.Product Knowledge Attend training sessions and workshops to stay informed about new products. Research industry trends and competitor offerings. Share insights with the sales team to improve sales approaches.Key Competencies We are looking for: Preference for B.Sc., B.Pharma, or candidates with a technical background in Biomedical Engineering Ability to quickly learn and explain the mechanical and clinical nuances of specialized surgical instruments. 2+ years experience in hospital sales (preferably in surgical instruments) Confident and persuasive in communication Excellent presentation skills Ability to negotiate effectively Self-starter and a target-oriented Ability to work with minimal instruction as well as collaboratively Ability to work under time pressure and meet deadlines Honest and trustworthy reporting Desire to learn CRM tool for reporting Language Proficiency: Fluency in English, Hindi.
