Ltd. is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager – Government & PSU Sales to drive strategic growth across Central & State Government departments, PSUs, Smart City projects, and Government Enterprises.The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Cloud, Data Center, and Managed IT Services, along with proven experience in tender-based sales, GeM portal management, and long-term government account handling.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentify and develop new business opportunities within Government, PSU, and Public Sector Enterprises including Central/State Government bodies and Smart City initiatives.Define and execute go-to-market strategies for the Government & PSU vertical.Drive lead generation and client acquisition through RFP/RFQ participation, GeM portal, empanelments, and direct engagements.Manage the complete government sales lifecycle — bid strategy, pre-bid meetings, proposal submission, negotiations, and closures.Achieve revenue targets aligned with organizational growth objectives.Prepare techno-commercial proposals, solution presentations, and requirement mapping documents.Collaborate with pre-sales, technical, product, and marketing teams for optimal solution design.Lead complex sales negotiations in compliance with government procurement norms.Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.Manage existing government accounts for renewals, repeat business, cross-sell, and up-sell opportunities.Track policy changes, budget allocations, and sector developments impacting the Government/PSU landscape.Conduct client meetings, presentations, and follow-ups (virtual & in-person).Required Skills & ExperienceBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering, IT, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (preferred from reputed institutes).Proven experience in Government & PSU IT Sales (Cloud, Data Center, Managed Services).Strong knowledge of Public/Private Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), Cloud Migration, Virtualization, Data Storage, Security, and Data Center technologies.Hands-on experience with GeM portal, tendering processes, RFP/RFQ management, and government procurement policies.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Strong strategic thinking and analytical ability.Self-motivated, target-driven, energetic, and collaborative team player.What We OfferHigh-growth and technology-driven work environment.Exposure to large-scale Government & PSU digital transformation projects.Clear career progression and leadership opportunities.Comprehensive Medical Insurance.Employee-friendly compensation structure with tax benefits.Regular engagement activities and team outings.Apply NowIf you see yourself in this role and want to be part of a fast-growing organization, we would love to hear from you.
