Position Title: Assistant Manager – HoReCaDepartment: Institutional SalesLocation: Mumbai – HQReporting To: Senior ManagerDirect Reports: NAObjective of the RoleResponsible for primary and secondary sales development. Drive market share growth, achieve or exceed assigned sales targets, resolve market-related issues, and strengthen brand presence in the HoReCa segment.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate quality leads for HoReCa end customers through cold calling.Nurture leads and drive active engagement with prospects to generate business for melamine products.Deliver presentations to HoReCa customers including star-rated hotels, restaurants, cafés, and caterers.Work closely with Chefs and F&B Managers to understand client needs, recommend appropriate products, and ensure product indents/recommendations at respective accounts.Collaborate with Purchase Managers and other key decision-makers of HoReCa clients for revenue generation.Achieve budgeted revenue plans of multi-brand Direct HoReCa dealers by ensuring 100% fill rate at respective dealers for Treo / Procook / Opalware / Milton.Provide regular updates on competitor products, launches, margins, and market activities.Resolve HoReCa end-customer and channel issues; troubleshoot market problems and handle product complaints.Manage receivables for primary sales pertaining to Direct HoReCa channel and HoReCa distributors.Onboard new dealers and distributors for the HoReCa segment and drive expansion across the entire West region.Competencies / SkillsTechnical Skills:Experience in handling HoReCa channelsProficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPointExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong analytical skillsExcellent negotiation skillsBehavioural Skills:Strong persuasion, selling, and interpersonal skillsAdaptability and flexibilitySelf-driven, motivated, and target-orientedResilient with the ability to deal with failuresAbility to work under pressureAttention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervisionStrong business acumen with a flair for salesQualificationMBA / Postgraduate / Smart Graduate in any fieldExperienceMinimum 6+ years of relevant experience in a related industry and job profile
