Job Description:
The Sales Coach will be responsible for enhancing the performance of sales professionals through targeted coaching, training, and enablement. This role goes beyond traditional training delivery—it focuses on building active selling capabilities, supporting pitch development, handling real-time escalations, and being a trusted performance partner to the sales team (New & Modernized business). Sales Coaching & EnablementDeliver structured coaching sessions focused on active selling skills, consultative selling, and customer engagement.Observe sales interactions and provide actionable feedback to improve effectiveness.Support sales employees in developing personalized growth plans.Training & Capability BuildingDesign and facilitate training modules on sales fundamentals, strategic selling, and Schindler’s value proposition.Conduct refresher sessions and skill boosters based on performance gaps and business needs.Collaborate with L&D and Sales Excellence teams to align training with business priorities.Pitch Support & Escalation HandlingAssist sales teams in preparing and refining customer pitches and presentations.Join key customer meetings when needed to support delivery and positioning.Act as a sounding board and problem-solver for sales escalations, working with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.Performance PartneringAnalyse sales performance data to identify trends, strengths, and areas of improvement.Partner with Sales Managers to co-create action plans for underperforming team members.Promote a culture of continuous learning and accountability.Cross-functional CollaborationWork closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations to ensure sales teams are equipped with the latest tools, insights, and messaging.Advocate for sales team needs and feedback in organizational forums.Skills Required:Strong understanding of sales processes and customer dynamicsExcellent coaching, facilitation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to influence without authority and build trustProblem-solving mindset with a hands-on approachEmotional intelligence and sensitivity to team dynamicsAnalytical mindset with ability to measure training ROI.High energy, self-driven, and adaptable to diverse learnersStrong facilitation & presentation, content design, influencing, and communication.Professional Experience:Minimum 10 years+ experience in sales or sales training, in manufacturing or similar B2B technical sales industries.Proven track record in developing sales capability and driving performance outcomes.Education:Graduate (essential); PG in Sales/Marketing/Business (preferred)
