Job TitleSales EngineerBand/ GradeLevelJob FamilyDivisionLocationMumbai/Sonepat/AhmedabadDepartmentReporting toDirector/ Sales ManagerRole SummaryThe Sales Engineer is responsible for selling into new prospects as well as farming back into existing customer to ensure high renewal & customer satisfaction levels.Roles & responsibilitiesKRA 1Order Procurement and Client Relationship ManagementResponsibilities* Secures and renews orders and arranges timely delivery to the clients* Plans and modifies products to meet client needs* Researches and identifies potential clients for products or services.* Establishes new, and maintains existing, relationships with clients* Manages and interprets customer requirements* Persuades clients about the product that will best satisfy their needs* Visits prospective buyers at commercial, industrial, or other establishments to show samples or catalogs, and to inform them about product pricing, availability, and advantages.* Attends to client complaints, if anyKPI1. Timely delivery of products2. Accurate documentation of customer requirementsKRA 2Bill Processing and PaymentsResponsibilities* Ensure that all customer invoices are processed, planned in a timely manner* Work with the Accounts department to ensure payments come in before the credit period* Ensure there are no delays in payment in the planned credit limit and credit period* Tracks list of payments overdue drives its closure* Follows up on quotations raised* Ensure C form is duly filled and collectedKPI* Timely closure of customer invoices and apaymentsKRA 3Partnering with Sales TeamResponsibilities* Partners with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles* Collaborates with sales teams to understand customer requirements, to promote the sale of company products, and to provide sales support. Provides pre-sales technical assistance and product education* Collects and documents competitive intelligence* Helps in researching and developing new products* Handles sales services & complaints, enquiry generation* Creates and delivers powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value propositionKPI* Rate of new customer additionsQualificationMechanical Engineer/Diploma holdersSpan of Experience3 to 7 yearsSalary Range - 40,000/- to 60,000/- p.m
